REGISTRATION
Following the submission of your curriculum vitae we will arrange an informal face-to-face meeting with one of our consultants at our offices in West Bridgford, Nottingham. This informal interview will firstly cover your career to date including, job titles, roles, job responsibilities, achievements, promotions, environments in which you have worked, reasons for leaving your previous employers, as well as your likes and dislikes of your previous jobs. The second part of the meeting will be to discuss and identify your requirements from your next employer and job function. This is your opportunity to tell us your ideals for the next career move/job opportunity.
The purpose of this meeting is to identify positions and clients that we believe could offer opportunities that meet with your ideal expectations as well as your skills and experience.
MEETING US
Services to candidates seeking alternative employment are free of charge and we expect the registration meeting to be conducted within 1 hour. We would ask you to bring along any further information over and above your curriculum vitae which will help us learn more about you.
We do operate an appointment system but we will try and be as flexible as we can in terms of times.
Visitor parking is available at our offices in West Bridgford, Nottingham, and we are very well served by public transport, including Nottingham Train station which is approximately 1 mile away.
THE FIRST INTERVIEW & THE SECOND INTERVIEW
Once we have agreed on a suitable client and job opportunity and they have agreed to meet with you, we will arrange and organize the entire interview process offering you our dedicated support throughout.
As with most things in life preparation is key!
We will confirm all interview arrangements in writing including client name and address, telephone number, website details and directions, as well as the name of the person / people you are meeting along with their respective job titles.
Prior to the interview we will give an overview of our client, their history, their products, markets, clients, and applications, reasons for recruiting and how they typically go about the interview/recruitment process.
We will ask you to call us following each interview stage to discuss your thoughts on the client and their current opportunity and how it fits with your skills, experience, aspirations and future expectations, don’t forget we are here to help you achieve your ideal career move/job opportunity not to just find you a short term fix.
THE JOB OFFER AND RESIGNATION
We have nearly reached our goal!
In most cases we will be the first to inform you of the job offer. This would be done verbally and will give you the opportunity to ask any questions or raise any concerns or reservations, again don’t forget we are here to help you achieve your ideal.
Once an offer has been accepted and confirmed in writing we will help and assist you through the resignation process/period, something you may have never done or have only done on a couple of occasions but something we have helped candidates with every week/ month for the last 12 years, so we know what to expect and how to best complete this final stage. |
